A May 2010 letter from the student assistance counselor at Becton Regional High School in East Rutherford, NJ, thanking the Bergen County Mental Health Task Force for sponsoring Sean's presentation at her school on April 23, 2010:
I just wanted to send a thank you for booking Sean Campbell to speak at my school. First off, Sean was very professional and communicated with me often about his presentation and what I needed to do to make sure everything went successfully.
Second, the presentation was excellent. His story and the way he communicates it reached many of our students and Sean was kind enough to follow up with them. Just last week Sean returned to Becton and meet with approximately 10 to 15 students. Many of them had follow up questions that he was unable to answer the day of the presentation. Sean remained at Becton for about 4 hours speaking with students individually and as a group.
Sean has a compassion and understanding that touches students on a personal level.
Thank you again for giving Becton Regional High School the opportunity of seeing Sean's presentation first hand. It was greatly needed and appreciated. I would recommend Sean to all the SAC's in my area.
Thank you,
Michele Klamerus

And a student in the audience of this same presentation at Becton Regional High School posted on Sean's YouTube Speaking Videos page:
"I never had a true hero, until now. I can very honestly say that you Sean, are my true hero. I look up to you SO much, I hope to one day be just like you."
